Summer's academic background underscores her multidisciplinary approach to leadership. Armed with a B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Computer Information Systems as well as an M.S. in Respiratory Care (Health Sciences), she brings a unique blend of technical prowess. Additionally, as a licensed Life, Health, and Accident Insurance Agent, and a Registered Respiratory Therapist, her diverse skillset sets her apart as a true innovator in her field redefining industry norms.

WHAT I DO

Summer Swafford is Founder of SummerSaid, a minority woman-owned agency poised to redefine the standards of administrative excellence. Her passion involves elevating the profession of Executive Assistants which is where her career began. With 20 years of supporting executive-level leaders in the nonprofit and higher education space, she recognized the indispensable need for top-tier support in driving organizational success.

Summer's entrepreneurial spirit led her to establish SummerSaid, with a core focus on revolutionizing business operations and administration and elevating the business owner’s experience of having an EA. The demand was overwhelming and SummerSaid expanded into a full-fledged agency pioneering a new paradigm where EAs operate as strategic project managers within lean teams. At the heart of her mission lies the desire to train and mentor aspiring administrative professionals equipping them with the skills and mindset needed to thrive in dynamic business environments.
